At Course Completion
After completing this course, students will be able to do the following:

• Describe at a high level key Microsoft Dynamics CRM concepts.
• Explain how customer records, addresses, notes, attachments, connection records, and activities are recorded in Microsoft Dynamics CRM and how to configure personal options.
• Work with records and views.
• Use Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Outlook to track and synchronize items and manage offline capability.
• Search on Microsoft Dynamics CRM data
Prerequisites
Before attending this course, students must have a working knowledge of the following:
• Microsoft Windows operating systems
• Microsoft Outlook
• Microsoft Word
• Microsoft Excel

Sales Management in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011

At Course Completion
After completing this course, students will be able to:

•Gain a conceptual understanding of the Microsoft Dynamics CRM sales process
•Understand the role of the core record types used in Sales Management
•Discuss when to use leads to qualify or disqualify opportunities
•Use the Product Catalog
•Create Price Lists for campaigns and special offers
•Create orders, quotes and track order fulfillment
•Use Lists, Views and Charts to obtain important sales information
•Work with and create dashboards

Prerequisites
Before attending this course, students must have:
•General working knowledge of customer relationship management
•General understanding of business processes
•General working knowledge of Microsoft Windows.

Service Management in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011

At Course Completion
After completing this course, students will be able to:

•Use some of the most common service management applications of Queues and Contracts.
•Work with cases in the case grid.
•Create and manage contract templates.
•Create and manage contracts.
•Associate contracts with cases.
•Create, activate and deactivate, and delete Knowledge Base article templates.
•Search articles from within a case record and utilize articles to resolve cases.
•Create, manage and work with Teams.
•Define steps involved in creating and managing queues.
•Build personal and system charts and dashboards to provide insight into important service management information.

Prerequisites
Before attending this course, students must have:
•General working knowledge of customer relationship management
•General understanding of business processes
•General working knowledge of Microsoft Windows.

4.Service Scheduling in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011

After completing this course, students will be able to:

•Identify key service scheduling concepts
•Compare service scheduling business scenarios
•Understand the service scheduling process flow
•Set up work schedules for users, facilities or equipment
•Close, cancel or reschedule a service activity

5.Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 Customization and Configuration

At Course Completion
After completing this course, students will be able to:

•Design and implement strategies for the creation of Business Units and Security Roles
•Create and configure Microsoft Dynamics CRM Users and Teams
•Describe the principles of customizing the system
•Create and configure fields for both custom and system entities
•Create and configure custom entities, including standard and activity entities
•Design, create and configure relationships between entities
•Create and configure Views, Charts and Forms for both system and custom entities
•Implement Field Security in Microsoft Dynamics CRM
•Configure and monitor audition on Microsoft Dynamics CRM components
•Design, create and configure Solutions in Microsoft Dynamics CRM; implementing both managed and unmanaged Solutions
•Understanding how to use Java Scripting to customize and add functionalities that Microsoft Dynamics CRM does not support by default

Prerequisites
Before attending this course, students must have:
A working knowledge of how to use Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011. It is recommended, but not required, that individuals have completed Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 applications training. Because this training material focuses on customizing database entities, attributes, relationships, and mappings, it is recommended that individuals have a basic understanding of Microsoft SQL Server and relational database functionality.

6.Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 Installation and Deployment

At Course Completion
After completing this course, students will be able to:

•Describe the components that are required for a successful Microsoft Dynamics CRM implementation.
•Identify the hardware and software requirements for each component of a Microsoft Dynamics CRM implementation.
•Install Microsoft Dynamics CRM Server.
•Install Microsoft Dynamics CRM Reporting Extensions.
•Install and configure the Microsoft Dynamics CRM E-mail Router.
•Describe the deployment methods for installing Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Outlook.
•Configure Claims-based authentication and Internet-facing deployment.
•Upgrade to Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011.
•Manage Microsoft Dynamics CRM organizations using the Deployment Manager.
•Describe the high availability options for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011.

Prerequisites
Before attending this course, students must working knowledge have of:
•Microsoft Windows Server 2008
•Active Directory
•Internet Information Services (IIS)
•Microsoft Exchange
•Microsoft SQL Server 2008
•Microsoft Outlook
Some experience using Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 or Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 is desirable but not required.
